This little bird was laying in the rocks outside of Zentx. It looked like it had hit the window and broke its wing. As I got closer it got very vocal. I wanted to see if it was at least mobile, so I got closer. When I got too close, the bird got up and walked about 15 feet away, revealing four little eggs resting in a shallow divot of river rock.
I didn’t know birds laid eggs in rock beds, but as soon as I realized what they were, I decided to step back.
